Description

The MS Douro Cruiser is a river cruise ship designed to sail along Portugal’s Douro River, through one of Europe’s most picturesque wine-growing regions. Measuring approximately 78 metres in length, it offers a comfortable and intimate setting, ideal for discovering the region at a relaxed pace. The ship features four passenger decks, a panoramic restaurant serving multi-course meals, and a lounge with a bar, perfect for unwinding after excursions. The sun deck features a swimming pool, sun loungers and shaded areas, offering views of the terraced vineyards and landscapes of the Douro Valley. The ship has 65 outside cabins, each measuring approximately 15 m². Cabins on the main deck feature large windows, while those on the upper deck have private balconies. Full-board dining is included, with a breakfast buffet and multi-course lunches and dinners, featuring European cuisine and traditional local specialities. The atmosphere on board is informal and sociable, with musical evenings, dancing, entertainment and presentations about the destinations visited.
