This is the fourth ship in the “Vista” class and the first not to be done in the official colors of Holland America Line. It was originally destined for Cunard with the name Queen Victoria, but during its construction Carnival Corporation decided to transfer the order to P&O Cruises. A characteristic of this class is the panoramic elevators located on the sides of the ship, that allow for a spectacular view of the sea. The interior decorations reflect the tastes of the British clientele to which it is dedicated. Recently Arcadia has undergone a modification in its external paint design.

My Experience on Board Arcadia
I departed from Southampton for a truly enchanting cruise aboard Arcadia, following an itinerary that led me to discover some of Norway’s most stunning destinations. But beyond the captivating ports of call, what truly made this cruise special was the entertainment on board Arcadia. Every evening offered something different: live shows featuring talented singers, dancers, and comedians – always of excellent quality. The ship’s theatre is beautiful, well-organized, and offers a varied and engaging programme. During the day, there was no shortage of activities: quizzes, dance classes, culinary demonstrations, and for those seeking relaxation, the spa area and indoor pool were simply perfect. In short, this experience aboard Arcadia struck a perfect balance between exploration, relaxation, and high-quality entertainment. I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who appreciates well-curated entertainment in an elegant setting.
