The Mövenpick MS Darakum is one of the largest ships sailing on the Nile River between Luxor and Aswan. Its Moroccan-inspired design sets it apart and offers an unforgettable journey while sailing through 7,000 years of history. Onboard, there is a variety of recreational activities, including a swimming pool, a sun deck with a recreational area, themed parties, and a gym.
All cabins overlook the Nile and offer large panoramic windows for breathtaking views of the river. The cabins are fully air-conditioned and are divided into 5 categories, from Standard to Senior Suite. The main restaurant offers buffet meals with international and local dishes. The Lounge Bar is the perfect place for afternoon tea, cocktails, and evening entertainment. It has been designed to provide a unique Arabian touch while enjoying cocktails and Galabeya parties. Finally, the elegantly furnished Sun Deck offers a variety of drinks and snacks while relaxing and enjoying the stunning view of the Nile River.

Einzigartige Nilreise zwischen Komfort und Kultur

Eine Nilkreuzfahrt an Bord der Mövenpick MS Darakum war ein Erlebnis, das ich nicht so schnell vergessen werde. Schon beim Betreten fiel mir die warme, einladende Atmosphäre mit marokkanischem Stil und authentischen Details auf. Meine Kabine war geräumig und hell, mit Panoramafenster zum Fluss, Klimaanlage, Minibar und einem Badezimmer mit Badewanne. Wir besuchten faszinierende Orte wie Luxor, Edfu, Kom Ombo und Assuan – begleitet von fachkundigen, leidenschaftlichen Reiseleitern. An Bord verging die Zeit langsam, mit Poolpausen, Entspannung auf dem Sonnendeck und Sonnenuntergängen über der Wüste. Das Essen war abwechslungsreich und reichlich, mit lokalen und internationalen Gerichten. Themenabende und kleine Shows sorgten für eine gesellige Stimmung. Die Crew war stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. Einziger Nachteil: kein Aufzug. Die Mövenpick Darakum bietet eine perfekte Mischung aus Kultur, Komfort und Entspannung auf dem Nil.
