Description

The National Geographic Sea Bird was built in 1982 for the American company Exploration Holidays and was previously named the Majestic Explorer. It has been sailing for Lindblad Expeditions since 1988, first as the Sea Bird, and then from 2007 on as the National Geographic Sea Bird.
The ship can accommodate 62 passengers in 31 exterior cabins and is used mainly in Alaska, Baja California and the northwestern coast of the United States and Canada. Its shallow draft allows it to sail through internal passages, small bays and navigate on narrow canals.
