Description

A prototype of the "Vista" class, Zuiderdam is characterised by the panoramic lifts on its sides which provide a spectacular view of the sea. The ship's interior fittings are elegant and in keeping with the company's style, and thanks to the covered lido it is a ship suitable for all types of weather. In the course of its operational life it has undergone several upgrades to keep up with the times. Cabins have been added, as well as "The Retreat" outdoor relaxation area which has become a trademark of Holland America Line.

First of a "New" Class of Ships

I liked

A very good experience overall and the ship is not a behometh which I very much appreciated.

I didn't like

The passenger list skews towards older people so there are plenty of mobility issues to deal with as they navigate/

Bella esperienza con Holland, che si conferma sempre una scelta che premia il rapporto qualità prezzo. Nave non molto moderna ma ai Caraibi si sta sempre fuori. Gastronomia eccellente
