Description

Built in 2003 with a length of 32 meters and a width of 5.5 meters can accommodate up to 10 passengers. Shannon Princess, is the largest hotel barge to have sailed on the River Shannon and its picturesque connected lakes. Her thoughtfully designed interior includes a comfortable lounge and dining area with panoramic windows. The five junior suites with double/twin cabins, also with panoramic windows, are stylishly appointed and each is air-conditioned, centrally heated and accompanied by a modern private bathroom with shower.
The expansive deck sundeck is definitely the perfect place to relax, perhaps on one of the comfortable loungers, watching the scenery slowly flow by, or in the hot tub. There's also an inviting dining room with circular table to enjoy a gourmet meal on warmer days. The Shannon River and its lakes represent Ireland at its best, and while cruising you will enjoy a landscape of rolling green fields, ancient Celtic monuments, and abundant wildlife. A program of fascinating excursions is available during the cruise, allowing a true immersion in the heritage and traditions of this part of Ireland.
