Athos

Athos was converted into a luxury hotel barge in 1982. Approximately 31 meters long and 5.5 meters wide, it has 5 cabins and can accommodate up to 10 guests. Its intimate lounge is the perfect place to relax on a comfortable sofa with a good book, or to sip an aperitif before enjoying another gourmet meal at the elegant dining table. The barge is fully air-conditioned and the five bright cabins offer all the modern conveniences and can be in twin or double configurations.
Outside, its spacious sundeck has a large adjustable canopy to provide shade during a meal. There are comfortable wooden lounge chairs for relaxing and admiring the slowly flowing Midi countryside. For the more energetic Athos carries eight touring bicycles; guests can easily disembark at a lock, go visit a village or two, and join the barge later. There are five crew members on board: the captain, a chef, a tour guide, and two hostesses.
