Regina Danubia is a ship for very special occasions and has welcomed some famous guests, the maiden voyage from the Mondorf shipyard near Bonn to Passau was attended by the President of Germany Richard von Weizsäcker. In 2016 it was the venue for the informal meeting of EU leaders in Bratislava - 26 government leaders, including Angela Merkel had dinner on board during a cruise.
