Description

Built in 2011, she is 68 metres long and 11.4 metres wide. The Crystal Queen is the largest ship in Regensburg's Crystal Fleet and is made exclusively from Swarovski elements. It was built at the LUX shipyard in Mondorf near Bonn. An enormous crystal crown with a diameter of 15 metres decorates the ship. Several flat screens and an on-board camera display the cruise from the captain's point of view. A lift leads directly to the spacious sun deck.
The entrance deck has a seating capacity of about 180, the glittering stairs lead to the gallery with about 145 seats. The view from the gallery to the banquet hall is framed by a crystal handrail. The stairs are filled with Swarovski crystals and the glittering Crystal Bar is an additional highlight of the ship. A spiral staircase leads down the hull, where there is a treasure chamber with two crystal installations. Its theme is the underwater world of mermaids, fabulous creatures and fish.
