Silversea: New charter flights to the Arctic

Silversea Cruises has introduced new direct private charter flights for 28 Arctic and Greenland cruises in 2023 and 2024. This will allow guests to travel more conveniently from London, New York, Montreal and Oslo to some of the Arctic’s most remote destinations, including Longyearbyen, Kangerlussuaq, Pond Inlet and more.

This latest innovation, which will be available to guests on select voyages aboard Silver Endeavour, Silver Wind and Silver Cloud, further enhances the ultra-luxury cruise line’s most diverse and extensive Arctic itinerary, which includes 37 voyages to more than 110 destinations between 2023 and 2025.

As part of the voyage to the Arctic, Silversea guests will enjoy private transfers to and from the airport. Those opting for the door-to-door and port-to-port options will fly to the Arctic on private charters with enhanced service throughout, superior food, beverages and inflight entertainment. Luxury accommodation is also included as standard on both door-to-door and port-to-port options.

“Building on our all-inclusive expedition offerings, which are the most comprehensive in the industry, we are pleased to introduce new private charter flights to the Arctic and Greenland to enhance the continuity of our guests’ journeys,” said Massimo Brancaleoni, SVP Global Sales for Silversea Cruises.

Silversea is committed to innovation and we are always looking for ways to enhance the travel experience for our guests, including pre- and post-cruise travel. Not only do we explore the remotest regions of the Arctic with a unique destination experience and some of the most luxurious ships at sea, but we do so with unparalleled comfort and convenience. Complementing our private home-to-airport transfers, our new private charter service will allow our guests to focus on enjoying their Arctic adventure from the moment they leave home”.

Aboard Silversea’s ultra-luxury Arctic cruises, guests enjoy all-inclusive comforts, enrichment from onboard experts and access to some of the world’s most remote destinations. Guests have the opportunity to view polar bears and whales, visit Inuit communities or take a polar plunge, among other immersive experiences, while still enjoying the level of comfort for which the line is renowned.
