Royal Caribbean: let’s discover the Wonder of the Seas

Royal Caribbean reveals the new itineraries and begins to accept bookings for its future Oasis Class flagship, the Wonder of the Seas.

Currently undergoing construction in Saint-Nazaire, France, the ship will sail from Shanghai and Hong Kong starting in March 2022, for its exciting inaugural cruises lasting between 4 and 9 nights. It will be the largest cruise ship in the world and from March to November, it will offer routes to Japan, where guests can fully immerse themselves in the Asian atmosphere. The ship will provide the opportunity to see wonderful Japanese points of interest like Tokyo, Mount Fuji, Kumamoto, Kagoshima, Ishigaki and Miyazaki.

After its initial cruises, the Wonder Of The Seas will move to warmer destinations for the highly anticipated Christmas and New Year’s cruises from November 2022 to January 2023, with stopovers in Vietnam, South Korea, Japan and China.

“China continues to be one of Royal Caribbean’s most well-loved destinations. It will be an extraordinary moment, after years of being partners, to assist in the debut of their next flagship the Wonder of the Seas right in Shanghai,” declared Michael Bayley, Royal Caribbean International President and CEO.

The Wonder of the Seas is the fifth ship in the Oasis class and has a gross tonnage of 236,857 tons, is 362 meters long and 64 wide, has 18 decks and 2,867 cabins to accommodate up to 6,988 guests and more than 2000 crew members.
