Norwegian Joy: New Features Onboard

Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL), the global innovator in the cruise industry, revealed today new and expanded offerings aboard the Norwegian Joy, including a new Thermal Suite in the Mandara Spa and Salon, redesigned Premier The Haven Owner’s Suites with three bedrooms, an expanded Vibe Beach Club, and 24 new balcony cabins after a three-week dry dock.

Among the notable upgrades to the Norwegian Joy and the guest experience on board is the addition of the brand-new and spacious Thermal Suite at the Mandara Spa and Salon, now the largest among the Breakaway-Plus class ships. Complete with rejuvenating amenities such as brand-new four-sense loungers, a sauna, ice room, and a Turkish bath, Norwegian Joy guests can enjoy additional services within NCL’s renowned Mandara Spa experience, named “Best Spa” by Cruise Critic editors in their 2023 Editor’s Picks Awards.

“Our guests have asked for these enhancements to Norwegian Joy, and we have delivered,” said David J. Herrera, President of Norwegian Cruise Line. “We strive to evolve the onboard experience based on the desires and needs of our guests, and this is another example of putting them first in our decisions. From an expanded spa to more spacious accommodations, with these new upgrades, we’ve provided our guests with more space to relax, unwind, and enjoy time on board with their loved ones.”

The new Premier Owner’s Suite with a large balcony in The Haven by Norwegian has been expanded to three bedrooms. The two new suites feature three bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, a living room, a master bedroom, and a completely renovated exterior balcony, along with a new separate dining room overlooking The Haven Horizon Lounge forward-facing.

The exclusive adults-only Vibe Beach Club has also been expanded, now boasting a layout similar to the Vibe Beach Club available on the Norwegian Encore and Norwegian Bliss, including new private luxury cabins.

In March 2024, Norwegian Joy will embark on seven-day round-trip Caribbean voyages from Miami before setting sail for Bermuda from New York in the summer of 2024.
