MSC Cruises is further expanding the range of onboard experiences available on MSC World Asia, the fleet’s newest flagship, which will welcome guests from December 6, 2026, offering seven-night cruises in the Mediterranean, with calls at some of the region’s most iconic destinations, including Barcelona, Marseille, Genoa, Civitavecchia (for Rome), Messina and Valletta.
On board, guests will find more than 40 bars, lounges and cafés, including five new concepts focused primarily on the world of beverages. From the opportunity for families to create their own personalized drinks at the Clubhouse and Soda Bar, to a sophisticated Italian aperitivo overlooking the ocean at The Terraces Bar & Lounge, and a tropical cocktail by the pool at the Coral Cove Bar, guests will have a wide variety of experiences to enjoy throughout the day.
The third ship in the World Class series, which celebrates the beauty of the world’s continents and oceans while reflecting MSC Cruises’ international identity, MSC World Asia will feature design elements inspired by the culture, art and landscapes of Asia. These influences will also be reflected in several of the ship’s bars and lounges. Overall, the new flagship will offer 13 new experiences and completely reimagined spaces.
Among MSC World Asia’s highlights is an increasingly broad and diverse selection of bars, lounges and cafés, designed to accompany guests throughout the day, from relaxing by the pool and enjoying aperitivo at sunset to spending the evening immersed in entertainment.
Designed primarily for families and groups of friends, the Clubhouse and Soda Bar will be a space dedicated to socializing, games and shared experiences. At the Soda Bar, guests will be able to unleash their creativity by preparing personalized non-alcoholic drinks, choosing their base and adding cream, flavored syrups and a variety of toppings. During the day, the venue will offer MSC Cruises-themed games, interactive digital tables and numerous challenges, while younger guests can have fun with their families in the LEGO® area and at The Court, featuring bumper cars and activities designed for all ages. As evening arrives, the space will take on a different atmosphere, transforming into a warm and welcoming setting where guests of all ages can enjoy a selection of cocktails and mocktails.
Another major new addition is the Sky Box Bar, located inside the Luna Park Arena. Here, the atmosphere will be more intimate and sophisticated, with a selection of premium drinks and original cocktails. The concept draws inspiration from the creative world of early 20th-century Futurism, reinterpreted through a menu that puts a contemporary spin on classic mixology favorites. Drink preparation will also become an integral part of the experience, with bartenders taking center stage in live performances in front of guests, turning each cocktail into a moment of entertainment. Premium spirits, refined offerings and attentive service will combine to create an atmosphere of elegant simplicity, making the venue ideal for an aperitivo before a show at the Luna Park Arena or for enjoying a drink at the end of the evening.
The charm of the Italian aperitivo will take center stage at The Terraces Bar & Lounge, a relaxed yet sophisticated setting featuring spectacular panoramic views of the sea. The offering will range from classics such as the Negroni and Aperol Spritz to a selection of spritzes, wines and prosecco, accompanied by small bites inspired by Italian tradition, including focaccia and olives. Inside, live music and a warm, welcoming atmosphere will make the venue an inviting place to spend time with friends and family. Wine enthusiasts will also have the opportunity to take part in expert-led tastings, discovering local varieties and learning more about the regions visited during the cruise. With its elegant terrace, sea views and relaxed atmosphere, The Terraces Bar & Lounge will be an ideal place to take a break, raise a glass and admire the sunset.
For those who prefer to relax by the pool, the Coral Cove Bar, located within the Coral Cove Pool, will offer a true oasis inspired by the beauty of the Philippines’ coral reefs. The welcoming and informal setting will be designed to complement moments of relaxation throughout the day, with a selection of classic drinks to be enjoyed from the comfort of the poolside.
Overlooking the Promenade, the Pan Asian Bar will complete the offering with an experience inspired by the flavors and atmosphere of Southeast Asian street food. The bar is part of the new Pan Asian Street Food restaurant, one of three venues that make up the concept dedicated to the region’s street-food cuisine. The drinks menu will feature cocktails and beverages inspired by Asian flavors, including the Jasmine Mojito, Rose and Strawberry Daiquiri and Matcha Colada. The offering will also include a selection of beers from different parts of Asia, together with a special beer brewed on board, the “Oceanic Asian,” characterized by distinctive Oriental notes.

Alongside the new concepts, MSC World Asia will also bring back some of the most popular bars and lounges in the MSC Cruises fleet, reaffirming a selection of venues that have become established favorites among guests. Among the returning highlights will be the ever-popular Coffee Emporium, ideal for a coffee break and sweet treats, and the elegant Fizz – Champagne Bar, dedicated to those looking to enjoy a more refined experience. The iconic All-Stars Sports Bar will also return as a meeting point for sports and entertainment fans, together with Masters of the Sea, home to the onboard brewery and an experience designed for beer enthusiasts.
With this new offering, MSC World Asia further expands its range of social and leisure experiences, creating a diverse collection of spaces united by a shared goal: turning every moment on board into an experience to be enjoyed and shared.
