Lindblad Expeditions: the drone tour of the last ship

Lindblad Expeditions has just produced a spectacular new drone video of their latest ship, the National Geographic Islander II, creating a virtual tour unlike any other.

Custom FPV drones generally used for racing have been used to do this. These small, fast drones require the use of goggles with a live feed to make fast turns and maneuvers and require a great deal of training and experience.

With a short 10-hour production window in the Galapagos to complete the mission, Dream Beach Media captured a unique perspective by navigating typically difficult spaces where traditional drones cannot fly. Covering the entire ship, from the cozy indoor/outdoor dining rooms to the spacious guest suites to the high-tech Science Hub, the result was the definitive video tour of the ship and a great visual tool for the pioneering expeditionary travel company.

All that’s left is to check out the National Geographic Islander II FPV drone tour here, enjoy!
