The Hanseatic Spirit: new ship for Hapag-Lloyd Cruises

Vard, a subsidiary of Fincantieri which is one of the main companies in the world for the design and construction of specialty ships, has delivered the Hanseatic Spirit. It is the third unit in the new series of small-sized luxury cruise ships being built for the German company Hapag-Lloyd Cruises.

The Hanseatic Spirit is 138 meters long with a weight of almost 16,000 tons. The ship has two twin ships, the Hanseatic Nature and the Hanseatic Inspiration, both of which were delivered in 2019 in Norway.

Every ship has been specifically designed to access even the most remote areas in the Arctic, Antarctic and Amazon regions.

The Hanseatic Spirit can accommodate up to 230 passengers. The hull was designed to provide high energy efficiency, in fact, just like the others in the series, this ship combines the best quality standards with careful attention to limiting environmental impact.
