Scenic Group Unveils the 2027 President’s Cruise

Scenic Group has just unveiled the 2027 President’s Cruise, which will take place aboard the new Emerald Lumi, offering guests exclusive access to a unique vacation experience in close contact with the company’s top leadership.

Following the tremendous success of the 2026 President’s Cruise aboard Scenic Eclipse, Scenic Group officially introduced the new 2027 themed sailing during an exclusive onboard preview.

Emerald Lumi is scheduled to debut in 2027 and will be inspired by her sister ship, Scenic Gem. These elegant vessels are specifically designed to navigate Europe’s rivers with ease, while offering generous spaces dedicated to relaxation and uncompromising comfort.

The President’s Cruise is one of Scenic Group’s most anticipated annual experiences, bringing together a select group of guests for an exclusive journey featuring premium programming, private gatherings, and unforgettable moments with senior company executives.

In particular, the 2027 President’s Cruise will welcome both new guests and loyal Scenic Group travelers, offering the traditional hosted dinners and excursions with top executives, especially Ken Muskat, President of Scenic Group USA and Latin America.

Emerald Lumi will depart from Paris — the Ville Lumière — on August 14, 2027, to explore the charming towns and historic landscapes along the Seine River, creating a fascinating journey through the historical and cultural heart of Normandy.

In Giverny, guests will visit Monet’s former home and gardens, the idyllic retreat that inspired many masterpieces by the renowned Impressionist painter. Another highlight will be Rouen, the captivating city forever linked to Joan of Arc and Viking warriors. The voyage will then continue to the center of Honfleur, a destination accessible to only a few ships, where guests will enjoy a full-day tour of the D-Day landing sites from World War II. Here, travelers will also savor one of the region’s local specialties: freshly harvested oysters.

Among the many included excursions are visits to the impressive Château de La Roche-Guyon and a traditional cider-producing estate, in addition to guided e-bike tours and walking excursions. Guests may also extend their vacation with a two-night stay in Paris — available as either a pre- or post-cruise package — to further explore the city’s iconic landmarks.

The recent onboard announcement once again highlights the brand’s commitment to rewarding guest loyalty and fostering deeper, more personal relationships with its global clientele. Ken Muskat stated that the President’s Cruise represents one of the most meaningful ways to connect with guests. It is a shared experience in which travelers truly feel part of the Scenic Group family, connected and welcomed regardless of the cruise destination.

The all-inclusive experience includes butler service, beverages, gratuities, and excursions led by expert local guides. Most suites feature a private veranda with floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors that seamlessly transform the cabin into an open balcony space. Once onboard and settled into their spacious and luxurious suites, guests can spend their days enjoying expansive public areas and breathtaking views of Europe’s enchanting waterways unfolding before their eyes.

The continued demand for exclusive cruises further underscores the importance of delivering ultra-luxury experiences centered around personalized guest interaction, creating truly unforgettable voyages.
