Riverside welcomes Riverside Debussy into its fleet

Riverside Debussy, the third luxury riverboat of Riverside Luxury Cruises, was christened in Amsterdam, Netherlands, during the first day of the American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) River Cruise Expo of 2024, by Alle Pierce, the award-winning television host, producer, and travel expert.

“We are thrilled to launch Riverside Debussy, our third luxury riverboat to join the Riverside Luxury Cruises fleet,” stated Gregor Gerlach, co-owner of Seaside Collection, the parent company of Riverside Luxury Cruises. “We are committed to offering the most luxurious experience in Europe with the finest ships and cuisine on Europe’s most captivating rivers. Our exceptional staff and crew are eagerly anticipating welcoming travelers to indulge in a luxurious European river experience.”

Riverside Debussy’s inaugural season will commence on March 23 with itineraries ranging from three to seven nights on the picturesque rivers Rhine, Danube, Main, and Moselle. These cruises will feature extended stops, including overnight stays, in some of Europe’s most enticing cities, providing guests with ample opportunities to explore destinations and enjoy the nightlife.

On selected itineraries, guests will traverse the Main-Danube Canal with seven-night Danube itineraries departing from Nuremberg and Regensburg, Germany, and Budapest, Hungary. Along the route, guests will visit historic capitals and picturesque towns and villages, navigating through UNESCO World Heritage sites and the Austrian wine valley of Wachau. Guests can also enjoy special departures on June 5th and September 25th, featuring a special round-trip itinerary from Budapest to Belgrade, Serbia, with stops in Mohacs, Hungary; Vukovar, Croatia; and Novi Sad, Serbia.

For those seeking a shorter getaway, options include three- and four-night trips in Germany departing from Nuremberg, Frankfurt, Trier, and Düsseldorf in early July, September, and late October, while travelers with more time can combine multiple cruises with extended explorations up to 21 nights, visiting different cities each time.

From late November to the new year, Riverside Debussy will take guests to Germany’s enchanting and festive Christmas markets on itineraries ranging from three to six nights, departing from Vienna, Nuremberg, Amsterdam, and Dusseldorf. Riverside Debussy will conclude its 2024 season with a 10-night Christmas and New Year cruise from Basel to Amsterdam.

“With the debut of Riverside Debussy, Riverside Luxury Cruises now offers travel advisors an additional option for their clients to enjoy an all-inclusive luxury river cruise in Europe,” said Jen Halboth, CEO of Riverside Luxury Cruises.

What will make these journeys aboard Riverside Debussy along Europe’s rivers truly unique is Riverside’s all-inclusive luxury experience and the intuitive, personalized service provided by every staff and crew member.
