Phoenix Reisen: christened MS Amina

Phoenix Reisen welcomes MS Amina into its fleet, the new first-class river ship that sets new standards in the river cruise industry.

The ship was christened on the banks of the Rhine in Bonn by Pastor Dieter Scharf in the presence of the godmother Sabine Wagner, part of the Phoenix Reisen team for over 40 years, who wished the ship, crew, and passengers well.

MS Amina features a new design and a new interior structure designed on different levels and areas. The 104 cabins, comfortable and elegant (including 92 with French balconies), feature a mix of natural colors and technological design. The main restaurant “Amina” and the aft restaurant “Trattoria Caminetto” will offer various culinary delights, while the two-level panoramic lounge with cozy seating areas and the spacious sundeck will allow guests to enjoy the beautiful landscape.

The ship has been certified with the “Green Award” and is equipped with four main engines with individual control and a solar system. MS Amina is now sailing on the Rhine towards Holland before navigating on the Danube.
