NCL: Norwegian Jewel is back in service
Norwegian Cruise Line has announced the return to service of Norwegian Jewel, the brand’s first ship to depart Panama City (Colón), Panama. Norwegian Jewel thus becomes the 13th ship in the fleet of 17 ships to return to service.
Norwegian Jewel‘s first voyage will be a majestic 12-day adventure sailing along the South American coast, visiting nine stunning ports and setting sail from historic Panama City (Colón), Panama. Highlights of the itinerary include a trip to Puerto Quetzal, where guests can go on a safari in one of Guatemala’s largest parks, as well as Las Caletas, where visitors can spend the afternoon swimming with sea lions at this retreat on the coast. tropical beach. Until the end of March 2023, Norwegian Jewel will offer a total of eight round-trip cruises on the Panama Canal, lasting eight to ten days, departing from Colón, the Caribbean part of Panama, and arriving in Panama City (Fuerte Amador). Additionally, the ship will offer a selection of 12-day repositioning trips.

The redeployment of the company’s entire fleet will continue in partnership with local governments and will be guided by the strong protocols of the Company’s Sail Safe Health and Safety program, which requires that all guests 12 years of age and older, as well as all crew, must be fully vaccinated to undertake all NCL voyages for the foreseeable future.
