Margaritaville at Sea is expanding its presence in the United States with the arrival of Beachcomber, the newest and largest ship in the fleet, which will make her debut from the Port of Galveston in October 2027.

The ship will offer four- to seven-night cruises featuring an extensive range of itineraries to some of the Caribbean’s most sought-after destinations. Beachcomber’s arrival marks an important step forward for Margaritaville at Sea and further strengthens Galveston’s position as one of the leading cruise ports in the United States.

Beginning in October 2027, the ship will offer itineraries of varying lengths, from four-night getaways to seven-night cruises, providing passengers with a wider choice of destinations. Ports of call will include Aruba, Key West, Curaçao, Grand Cayman, Montego Bay, Belize, Progreso, Roatán, Cozumel, Grand Bahama Island and Bimini. Particularly noteworthy is the inclusion of Veracruz, Mexico, a new addition to the Galveston cruise market that will further expand the range of destinations available to travelers sailing from the Texas port.

The company’s goal is to give travelers departing from Texas access to a wider selection of Caribbean destinations, combining shorter getaways and longer itineraries with the unmistakable atmosphere and spirit of the Margaritaville brand.

The Beachcomber experience will extend far beyond the itineraries. The new flagship will introduce more than 15 new onboard experiences created exclusively for the ship, complementing some of the venues and concepts already well known and enjoyed by Margaritaville at Sea guests. These include 5 o’Clock Somewhere, Hemisphere Dancer, Cheeseburger in Paradise and License to Chill — spaces and concepts that embody the brand’s signature laid-back and carefree style. The aim is to make time spent onboard a true extension of the Caribbean vacation, with entertainment, music, dining and relaxation experiences designed to capture the easygoing atmosphere that defines Margaritaville.

Among Beachcomber’s most exciting new additions will be Same Boat, a dedicated live music venue created in collaboration with Zac Brown, the three-time GRAMMY Award winner. The concept is designed to bring the energy and atmosphere of a Zac Brown Band concert to sea. The venue will combine live performances and cocktails in a setting inspired by Brown’s musical influences and distinctive style.

Particular attention will also be given to the music lineup, with a selection of top-tier artists curated specifically for the Texas market. This focus is especially fitting given Texas’s strong connection to country music and will add another distinctive dimension to the onboard experience offered by the new flagship.
