J Fashion Show 2022: Fashion aboard Costa Toscana

The J Fashion Show 2022 on board the new flagship Costa Toscana went on stage today in the waters of the Portofino bay.

The context is that of the beautiful new Costa Toscana ship, inspired by the beauties of the Italian region and representative of a new generation of units for the Costa Cruises’ fleet. The protagonist is Jessica Minh Anh, creator of the “Fashion x Sustainability” projects considered to be among the most innovative stylists in the world.

The event was attended by guests and international media, and the Italian spirit was represented by the various brands with which Costa Cruises is proud to collaborate. The designer’s creations are then paraded on the external decks of Costa Toscana, showing how elegance and innovation can go hand in hand with sustainability and environmental protection.

“This particular historical period – said Jessica Minh Anh – offers the opportunity for a sustainable restart of our society. Costa Toscana fits perfectly with my goal of promoting sustainability in a way that is also attractive from an aesthetic point of view. This ship is powered by liquefied natural gas, one of the most advanced technologies available for immediate reduction of emissions. It represents a breakthrough in the tourism industry. I am delighted to celebrate the rebirth of business and style aboard such a unique ship. ”

The show enjoyed today in the beautiful setting of Portofino is a mix of three shows of the stylist: Fashion x Sustainability, CatwalkOn-Water and Sky-High, great successes held in extraordinary locations such as the Eiffel Tower, on the Tower Bridge of London, on the Grand Canyon Skywalk, on the Hoover Dam, at the Gemasolar Power Station, and on board international cruise ships in Dubai, New York, Sydney and Hong Kong.

In this phase of gradual recovery of the tourism industry, it is a great opportunity to have Jessica aboard our new flagship Costa Toscana to deliver such an important message. We are also pleased that this collaboration is taking place in Italy, and in particular in Liguria”, declared Mario Zanetti, general manager of Costa Cruises.

An event, the one held today on board the Costa Toscana, which was able to launch an important message of sustainability and environmental protection, while promoting the Italian character of Costa Cruises and the brands that collaborate with the company. Fashion, design, the Ligurian Riviera and the wonderful new Costa Toscana have given life to a mix of emotions that we hope will be the beginning of an extraordinary activity for the new Costa Cruises’ flagship and for a new impulse to sustainable tourism and productivity.
