Fairytale cruises from Singapore with Disney Cruise Line

Disney Cruise Line and Singapore Tourism Board announce their collaboration to bring “fairytale” cruises to Southeast Asia.

The announcement was made by Josh D’Amaro, Chairman, Disney Parks, Experiences and Products , and Singapore’s Minister for Transport and Trade, S. Iswaran.

The parties recently signed an agreement that will run for a full 5 years from 2025, establishing Singapore as the homeport for a brand new Disney Cruise Line ship.

Details of the maiden voyage, itineraries and experiences on offer will have to wait.

“This is an exciting year for The Walt Disney Company: 2023 marks our 100th anniversary”, said D’Amaro.

“As part of this celebration, Disney Cruise Line is undergoing an ambitious expansion with new ships and new destinations around the world. We are thrilled to make Singapore the homeport for our seventh ship, which will begin sailing from here in 2025.”

“We look forward to welcoming the magic of Disney Cruise Line to Singapore in 2025″, said Keith Tan, Chief Executive Officer, Singapore Tourism Board (STB). “This is an important milestone for STB and reflects the strong confidence that Disney Cruise Line has in Singapore and Southeast Asia. The new Disney cruise ship will be an attraction in itself and is expected to boost Singapore’s tourism industry for many years to come.”

The agreement will bring great benefits to the entire cruise industry. It will also benefit the local economy.
