Some journeys are born from the meeting of a destination and a passion. Such is the case with the new collaboration between Emerald Cruises & Tours and PerryGolf, which brings a new concept to the Caribbean for travelers looking to combine their passion for golf with the comfort and elegance of a luxury yacht cruise.
The partnership features two seven-night itineraries aboard Emerald Sakara, departing on December 4, 2027, and February 12, 2028. The project is aimed at experienced travelers looking not only for prestigious golf courses, but also for a more relaxed and personal way to explore some of the Caribbean’s most captivating destinations.
The program has been built around three outstanding golfing experiences. Guests will have the opportunity to play at Aurora International Golf Club in Anguilla, on the course designed by Robert Trent Jones II at Four Seasons Resort Nevis, and at Royal Westmoreland in Barbados.

The advantage of this concept is clear: instead of constantly moving between hotels, transfers and golf courses, travelers will have a home base that is always on the move. They unpack their bags just once while traveling between different Caribbean islands, keeping their suite, personal space and all the amenities of the yacht throughout the journey.
Participation will be limited to just 32 golfers on each departure, helping to create a more intimate and personalized experience. The programs will be exclusively organized and operated by PerryGolf, which will oversee every aspect of the golfing experience.
One of the most compelling elements of the concept lies precisely in the compact size of Emerald Sakara. The experience is not about the size of the ship, but rather the opportunity to reach places and ports that larger vessels cannot normally access. On board, guests will find spacious suites, personalized service, fine dining and a marina platform that allows them to experience the sea in an even more direct way. The cruise therefore becomes an integral part of the experience, rather than simply a means of getting from one round of golf to the next. The concept is one of seamless travel: golf is the common thread, while the yacht provides the time and space to enjoy the sea, the destinations and moments of relaxation between rounds.
For a journey built around golf, logistics are essential. PerryGolf will therefore handle tee times, transfers between the yacht and the courses, equipment management, player pairings and on-site assistance. An experienced PerryGolf host will accompany guests throughout the itinerary, while one of the three rounds will feature a friendly competition followed by an awards ceremony. The goal is to remove the organizational complexity and leave participants with nothing but the pleasure of playing and traveling.
The collaboration between Emerald Cruises and PerryGolf reflects an increasingly visible trend in the world of luxury travel: travel is no longer conceived simply as a succession of destinations, but as an experience built around personal passions. Golf, gastronomy, art, wellness and culture are increasingly at the heart of specialized itineraries, transforming cruising into a platform for pursuing specific interests without giving up the comforts of a luxury journey.
For PerryGolf, the partnership represents a further expansion of its portfolio of golf-focused cruises. For Emerald Cruises, meanwhile, it provides an opportunity to connect with an international clientele of discerning golfers by offering them a different way to explore the Caribbean.

According to Ken Muskat, President of Scenic Group USA/LATAM, travelers today are increasingly seeking experiences that reflect their passions while also allowing them to explore the world in a more authentic and meaningful way. From this perspective, the partnership with PerryGolf brings together two brands that share a strong commitment to service quality and attention to detail, with the goal of creating a distinctive Caribbean experience that combines golf and yachting. The combination of Emerald Cruises’ luxury yachts and PerryGolf’s longstanding expertise in the high-end golf travel sector offers guests a new way to pursue their passion for golf while discovering some of the region’s most extraordinary destinations.
Alex Shattuck, CEO of PerryGolf, also emphasizes that Emerald Cruises’ yachts are particularly well suited to the project, thanks to their intimate atmosphere, high level of service and ability to reach spectacular destinations that larger ships cannot access. The partnership therefore aims to establish a new model for golf vacations, combining the advantages of luxury cruising with exclusive and memorable golfing experiences within a single itinerary.
With the two new itineraries aboard Emerald Sakara, golf and cruising thus come together in a single travel experience designed for an audience increasingly focused on personalization and quality. It is a concept that reflects a growing trend in luxury tourism: building the journey around individual interests while combining high-end hospitality, immersive experiences and carefully curated programs.
