Disney Believe Will Be Disney’s Next Cruise Ship
Disney Cruise Line has announced new details about the fourth ship in the Wish class, revealed during The Walt Disney Company’s 2026 Annual Shareholders Meeting by Chief Executive Officer Josh D’Amaro on his historic first day leading the company.
The next ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet will be named Disney Believe, a name that pays tribute to dreamers and doers who dare to pursue their own “happily ever after.” The ship represents the fourth chapter in Disney Cruise Line’s innovative Wish class, which has redefined the concept of family vacations at sea.

A defining feature of this class is the unique thematic identity of each ship: a creative concept that shapes and influences every aspect of the onboard experience, from live entertainment to venues and design. Following in the footsteps of her sister ships—Disney Wish, inspired by enchantment; Disney Treasure, dedicated to adventure; and Disney Destiny, focused on heroes and villains—the Disney Believe will also present an original narrative centered on the power of promises and the magic of endless possibilities. Through engaging stories of Disney characters who believe in themselves, their dreams, and a better future, the ship will bring to life in new ways the enchanting worlds of Encanto and Frozen, the legendary wishing wells of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and the captivating ocean depths of Moana and The Little Mermaid.
Construction Begins on Next Disney Cruise Line ship
Growth within Disney Experiences is now greater than ever in the company’s history. As part of this unprecedented expansion, Disney Believe continues the Disney Cruise Line tradition of combining immersive storytelling with cutting-edge technology to create one-of-a-kind vacation experiences, as only Disney can.
The expansion plan will bring the fleet to 13 ships by 2031, including Disney Adventure, which set sail on its maiden voyage from Singapore on March 10; Disney Believe, expected in late 2027; the introduction of a brand-new class of ships in 2029; and an agreement with Disney and Oriental Land Co., Ltd. (OLC) to bring Disney cruise vacations to Japan in 2029.
