Wellness is taking centre stage aboard Crystal fleet. For 2027, the cruise line has announced four new Wellness at Sea itineraries, designed to transform a voyage into a journey of self-care through physical activity, mindful nutrition, mindfulness practices and insights into longevity.
Leading the programme is Dalila Roglieri, Crystal’s Wellness Ambassador & Culinary Nutritionist, who has assembled a team of specialists aboard the company’s two ships to guide guests through a comprehensive journey focused on movement, nutrition and mental wellbeing.
The programme is built around four key pillars: culinary nutrition, physical fitness, mental wellbeing and longevity science. The result is an offering that goes far beyond the traditional concept of wellness at sea, featuring nutritional consultations, cooking demonstrations and workshops, alongside yoga, Pilates, strength training, dance, aqua fitness and pickleball. Guests will also enjoy meditation, breathing techniques, gratitude journaling and sound healing, while lectures and educational sessions will explore healthy ageing and the latest research into longevity.
According to Dalila Roglieri, Crystal’s Wellness Ambassador, wellness is a deeply personal experience that requires different approaches and practices tailored to each guest’s individual needs. This philosophy lies at the heart of the retreats, which are designed not only to provide a wellness experience during the cruise but also to equip guests with practical tools and healthy habits they can incorporate into their everyday lives once they return home.
The first retreat will take place aboard Crystal Symphony, sailing from Fort Lauderdale to Las Palmas, in the Canary Islands, from 20 March to 2 April 2027. This voyage will focus primarily on building lasting healthy habits through yoga, functional fitness, Pilates-inspired movement and one-on-one consultations. These activities will be complemented by culinary nutrition workshops and restorative practices such as meditation, sound healing and breathing exercises. The programme will also feature talks dedicated to balance, bone health and healthy ageing.
The second retreat will depart from Panama for New York on 20 August 2027, aboard Crystal Serenity, concluding on 3 September. This voyage marks the ship’s debut in the Wellness at Sea programme and introduces a special focus on pickleball. Activities will be led by Kat Valos, fitness specialist and pickleball player, who will offer coaching sessions suitable for participants of all levels, alongside physical conditioning classes designed to improve movement and performance. The programme will culminate in a friendly onboard tournament. Yoga, strength training, sound healing, culinary nutrition, mindfulness and longevity-focused sessions will complete the experience.
The third retreat will once again take place aboard Crystal Serenity, sailing from New York to San Juan from 12 to 21 October 2027. This Caribbean retreat will strike a balance between activity and recovery, alternating dynamic fitness programmes with moments dedicated to regeneration. Pickleball will once again play a central role, together with yoga, Pilates, strength training, meditation, sound healing, nutritional consultations and culinary workshops. The programme will be rounded out by sessions exploring the science of longevity.
The final itinerary will depart from Lisbon for Fort Lauderdale from 8 to 22 November 2027, once again aboard Crystal Symphony. Here, the concept of wellness will be closely intertwined with gastronomy in a journey exploring the relationship between food, wine and mindfulness. Wendy Narby of Bordeaux Experts will lead mindful wine tastings, food and wine pairing sessions and sensory workshops, complemented by yoga and fitness classes, culinary nutrition activities, mindfulness practices and lectures on longevity.

Guiding guests throughout these journeys will be a multidisciplinary team of experts in yoga, fitness, dance, Pilates, nutrition, sound healing and mental wellbeing. Their diverse expertise comes together in a single, integrated programme where movement, nutrition, physical and mental balance, and personal development become essential elements of the travel experience.
With these four retreats scheduled for 2027, Crystal is expanding its concept of onboard wellness, transforming a cruise into an opportunity not only for relaxation but also for discovering new practices and habits that promote long-term wellbeing. It is an approach designed to accompany guests throughout their voyage and, according to the cruise line’s vision, continue to benefit them long after they have returned home.
