Astoria Grande Arrives at the Port of Alexandria
The Port of Alexandria, one of the main commercial hubs of the Arab Republic of Egypt, will welcome the cruise ship Astoria Grande on March 21.
Located on the western edge of the Nile Delta, between the Mediterranean Sea and Lake Mariout, Alexandria is Egypt’s second-largest city and its principal seaport, handling around 60% of the country’s foreign trade.

The Astoria Grande, flying the flag of Palau and represented by Gulf Agency Company Egypt, will dock at the maritime passenger terminal, where guests will be warmly welcomed and able to begin their sightseeing program to explore the city’s historical, cultural, and tourist attractions. The vessel, approximately 193 meters long, 31 meters wide, with a draft of 6 meters, promises passengers a unique experience immersed in history, art, and culture.
Guests staying overnight will have the chance to experience the city even more authentically, visiting world-renowned sites such as the Citadel of Qaitbay, Pompey’s Pillar, the Abu al-Abbas Mosque, and the Library of Alexandria.
