Meyer and Ulyssia Residences: Introducing Ulyssia
Meyer Yachts, in partnership with Ulyssia Residences, has proudly announced an unprecedented collaboration for their upcoming project: ULYSSIA, a unique 320-meter residential yacht. The year 2025 marks a milestone for the project, with construction set to begin by the end of the year in Papenburg, Germany, home to Meyer Yachts.
Set to become the world’s most exclusive residential yacht community, ULYSSIA will feature 133 private residences and 22 guest suites. The concept was initiated by Swiss-Monegasque entrepreneur Frank Binder. The vessel is designed by world-renowned naval architect Espen Øino, with interiors by FM Architettura. Meyer Yachts will be responsible for all phases of ULYSSIA’s construction, which is expected to be completed within the next four to five years.

The construction of ULYSSIA will be divided into the following key phases over the next four to five years:
Design Phase: This involves basic design work to define ULYSSIA from a global perspective, followed by detailed engineering leading to production-ready workshop drawings.
Construction and Technical Outfitting: Based on workshop drawings, steel and pipe construction begins, followed by the technical outfitting of ULYSSIA. The first structural components—known as “blocks”—will be assembled in the historic dry dock.
Assembly and Interior Design: After approximately 18 months, the initial blocks will be ready for assembly. Between months 40 and 44, the focus will shift to interior outfitting and completion of the yacht’s innovative onboard environment.
Testing, Sea Trials, and Delivery: A sequence of tests and sea trials will precede the final delivery and ULYSSIA’s inaugural voyage.
