Crystal unveils the renderings of the Crystal Grace suites

Crystal continues to redefine the concept of luxury at sea and officially presents the new renderings of the Crystal Grace suites, the ship set to debut in May 2028.

With this preview, the company offers an in-depth look at a project that combines contemporary design, residential comfort, and an obsessive attention to detail, reaffirming its position as a leading reference in the high-end cruise industry.

Crystal Grace will be an all-suite, all-veranda ship, with spaces completely reimagined to meet the needs of travelers increasingly focused on extended stays, privacy, and quality of life on board. Among the key innovations are the spacious wraparound verandas, a configuration never before proposed by Crystal, which redefines the relationship between indoor and outdoor spaces.

The architectural design of Crystal Grace has been entrusted to the international firm GEM, while the artistic direction and coordination of the interiors are led by the Milan-based Studio Ibsen, ensuring a refined and timeless aesthetic. The 337 suites, designed to accommodate 650 guests (in double occupancy), reflect over thirty years of Crystal tradition, characterized by craftsmanship, balance, and a bespoke approach to space. With a gross tonnage of 61,800 tons, Crystal Grace is conceived to offer an intimate yet generous experience, where every space evokes a sense of calm, order, and comfort. Each suite embodies a harmonious blend of classic elegance and contemporary sensibility, transforming the accommodation into a true private retreat at sea.

At the heart of the design is a key principle: listening to guests. As emphasized by Cristina Levis, CEO of AKTG, every design decision stems from observing the habits, preferences, and lifestyle of Crystal travelers. The goal was to create spaces that offered an authentically residential feel, without compromising the intimacy and elegance that have always defined the brand. The result is a new generation of suites that enhance accessibility, optimize storage space, and offer ideal flexibility for both short cruises and world voyages.

Each suite on Crystal Grace will be attended to by a dedicated Crystal Butler, capable of providing intuitive and personalized service. From the evening preparation of the suite to the care of daily details, the service aims to create a sense of continuity and absolute well-being. Comfort is further enhanced by a personalized pillow menu, Jesurum 1870 linens, and beds designed to ensure deep, restorative rest, reaffirming Crystal’s commitment to every aspect of the onboard experience.

The offerings on Crystal Grace are divided into several suite categories, each designed to meet specific needs while never compromising on quality and sophistication.

The Guest Rooms with Veranda represent the gateway to the Crystal experience, with 230.35 square feet of indoor space and a private veranda of 57.05 square feet. Elegant interiors, improved storage solutions, and a functional layout make these suites ideal for those seeking intimacy and comfort. The Aquamarine Veranda Suites, the heart of the offering on board, provide 332.69 square feet of refined space, with a 85.05 square feet veranda, a vanity area, and a daily afternoon canapé service. Some configurations include separate bathtub and shower, while others feature spacious walk-in showers and walk-in closets.”

The ADA Aquamarine Veranda Suites ensure complete accessibility, with fluid, barrier-free spaces extending from the bedroom to the veranda, while maintaining the signature Crystal style. For those seeking distinct environments, the Sapphire Suites range from 460.7 to 537.2 square feet, with verandas up to 343.44 square feet in the wraparound versions. Separate living and sleeping areas, a dining table, and spacious bathrooms make them perfect as a ‘home away from home’. The Junior Penthouse Suites, centrally located, offer 844.85 square feet of space with verandas of 227.06 square feet, while two exclusive forward units boast spectacular 601.63 square feet wraparound verandas. These suites come with added benefits such as unlimited dining in specialty restaurants and unlimited laundry service.

At the top of the offering are the Penthouse Suites, true sea-view apartments. With over 1200.17 square feet of space and verandas extending up to 982.43 square feet, these suites feature panoramic lounges, private studies, integrated bars, and bathrooms with Jacuzzis, embodying a vision of uncompromising residential luxury.

One of the most distinctive features of Crystal Grace is the extraordinary presence of open-air spaces, designed to experience the sea continuously and naturally. The wraparound verandas, available in several categories, amplify the sense of space and offer panoramic views ideal for moments of relaxation, outdoor breakfasts, or private evenings under the stars. As highlighted by Bernie Leypold, Senior Vice President of Hotel Operations at Crystal, special attention has been given to the functionality of the storage spaces, allowing guests to comfortably settle in even during long voyages, bringing along memories, purchases, and personal items without compromises.

Scheduled for delivery on May 31, 2028, Crystal Grace will embark on its maiden voyage on June 11, 2028, following a series of preview cruises. The ship represents a natural yet decisive evolution of the Crystal legacy, combining innovation, elegance, and a contemporary vision of life at sea. In the coming months, Crystal will announce additional suite categories, including an Owner’s Suite, designed to further expand the options and elevate the onboard experience to a new level.

With Crystal Grace, the company is not just presenting a new ship, but introducing a new way of living at sea. Each suite becomes a personal, flexible, and meticulously crafted space, where the journey transforms into a true life experience. Crystal thus reaffirms its vision: understated, measured luxury, designed for those seeking not just destinations, but spaces where they can truly feel at home, anywhere in the world.
