Among the most significant highlights of the season are overnight stays in Melbourne and Cairns in Australia, as well as in Lautoka, Fiji. These extended stays allow travelers to experience cities and destinations at a more relaxed pace, immersing themselves in local cuisine, culture, and natural beauty without the rush of a single-day visit. Melbourne, Australia’s cultural capital, offers the chance to stroll among trendy cafés, world-class art galleries, and vibrant creative neighborhoods. In Cairns, guests can snorkel along the Great Barrier Reef or journey through the rainforest aboard the historic Kuranda Scenic Railway. Lautoka, meanwhile, provides authentic experiences such as participating in traditional kava ceremonies, enjoying natural thermal pools, and exploring Hindu temples that reflect the island’s cultural diversity.
The season also features Legendary Voyages, extended cruises that allow for in-depth exploration of the region and a deeper appreciation of its diverse landscapes and cultures. Standout itineraries include the 26-day Australia, Coral Sea & Fiji Legendary Voyage, which visits 14 ports across Vanuatu, Fiji, Tonga, and other South Pacific destinations, offering unforgettable experiences such as snorkeling among vibrant coral reefs, visiting traditional villages, and relaxing on pristine beaches, all while immersed in local culture. Other memorable journeys include the Hawaii, Tahiti & Marquesas Legendary Voyage and the Legendary South Pacific Crossing, which combine long itineraries with overnight stays in iconic ports such as Honolulu, Papeete, and Bora Bora.
Guests with an interest in nature and wildlife can choose from more than 100 curated tours, ranging from exploring sheep farms and glowworm caves to spotting little penguins in their natural habitat. The cruises also include visits to 13 UNESCO World Heritage sites, such as the lagoons of New Caledonia, Australia’s ancient Gondwana rainforests, and the iconic Sydney Opera House, allowing travelers to enjoy truly unique moments and form a deep connection with the environment and local cultures.
