Crystal has launched the 2029 World Cruise, which will depart from Melbourne on January 7, 2029, and conclude in New York on May 13, 2029, offering a 127-night experience aboard the Crystal Symphony.

The voyage will call at 72 destinations across 22 countries, charting a global itinerary that includes the first-ever circumnavigation of Australia, as well as visits to Indonesia, New Zealand, the South Pacific, South America, the Caribbean, and North America. The journey will also cross the International Date Line and feature extended stays in several iconic destinations. The itinerary will include 13 overnight stays, including Hanga Roa (Easter Island) and Ushuaia, along with new ports of call such as Exmouth for Ningaloo Reef in Australia, Robinson Crusoe Island, and Búzios in Brazil.

Fernando Barroso de Oliveira, Crystal’s Chairman and Brand Ambassador, will join the World Cruise, sharing his experience and deep knowledge of the destinations visited. Barroso de Oliveira notes that the 2029 World Cruise marks an unprecedented route, reinventing not only the destinations but also the journey that connects them. By venturing beyond traditional world cruise itineraries, the company can offer access to lesser-visited ports, extended stays, and a deeper understanding of each destination, combined with the exceptional onboard and shoreside experiences that Crystal guests expect.

Highlights of the 2029 World Cruise aboard the Crystal Symphony include calls at Portland, Kangaroo Island, and Adelaide before heading to Albany, Fremantle (Perth), Geraldton, Exmouth/Ningaloo Reef, and Broome. The voyage continues to Komodo and Bali in Indonesia, as well as Waingapu (Sumba) and Kupang (West Timor). The month concludes with stops in Darwin, Cairns, Airlie Beach, Brisbane, and Sydney. In February, the ship will reach New Zealand, visiting Wellington, Gisborne, Tauranga, and Auckland, with an additional stop in the Bay of Islands.
