Revelex, a company specializing in the development of technology solutions for the travel industry, is celebrating its anniversary by introducing two new tools designed to make cruise bookings easier and more engaging: Revy AI, an artificial intelligence-powered virtual assistant, and an interactive 3D cruise ship deck viewer.

Both innovations aim to support travel agents and their clients throughout the selection and booking process, which can become quite complex, particularly when comparing itineraries, fares, cabin categories and ship features. On the one hand, Revy AI introduces a conversational way to search for cruises and receive personalized guidance; on the other, the new 3D Cruise Deck Viewer allows users to explore ships virtually, identify cabin locations and take a closer look at the onboard facilities, helping them make more informed decisions.

David Goodis, founder, chairman of the board and CEO of Revelex, highlighted how the company's 27th anniversary serves as a reminder of the importance of continuing to develop innovative solutions that meet the needs of an ever-evolving travel industry. He also noted that Revy AI and the 3D Cruise Deck Viewer fully reflect the company's philosophy, bringing new levels of navigation and interactivity to the cruise booking process.

Designed to meet the needs of both business-to-consumer (B2C) and business-to-business (B2B) models, Revy AI is integrated into Revelex's PowerAgent 5 platform and supports travel agents and other industry professionals throughout their daily work. Its goal is to make it easier to find available options, provide relevant suggestions and identify the offers best suited to each client's requirements.

Through a conversational interface, users can express their preferences in natural language, without having to manually complete multiple search fields. They can, for example, specify their preferred destination, departure period and budget, access up-to-date information in real time and browse available cruises, progressively refining the results according to prices, dates and cruise lines.

Among Revy AI's key features is conversational cruise search, which enables users to identify the most relevant itineraries simply by describing what they are looking for. This is complemented by contextual booking assistance: the tool guides agents through cruise categories and subcategories, fare codes and the requirements needed to complete a booking, providing support throughout the entire process.

Another distinctive feature is its agency-specific intelligence. Revy AI can incorporate up-to-date operational information, including company rules, internal procedures, payment methods, business information, commercial requirements and target customer profiles. This enables the assistant to tailor its guidance to each agency's working practices and the characteristics of the travellers it serves.

The integration of B2B and B2C functionalities completes the picture. Within PowerAgent 5, Revy AI supports Revelex's professional booking environment while also extending AI-powered assistance to the consumer-facing experience.

Revelex plans to expand Revy AI's capabilities beyond its current focus on ocean cruises, with river cruises set to be added in a later phase. Future developments are also expected to extend the tool to hotels and other travel products, including escorted tours, air travel and holiday packages.

Marco Gomez Van Houten, Revelex's Director of Digital Experience, explained that Revy AI was developed to make cruise bookings more intuitive by integrating smarter, more personalized assistance into the process. He also emphasized that, by simplifying the search for available options, the management of booking details and the visualization of onboard accommodation, the tool enables travel agents to turn clients' initial interest into more informed decisions, while making the entire journey from search to booking smoother.

Alongside Revy AI, the other major innovation unveiled by Revelex focuses on how agents can present ships and help clients choose the accommodation best suited to their needs. The new 3D Cruise Deck Viewer transforms traditional deck plans into interactive three-dimensional representations, allowing users to explore ship layouts, view individual cabins and compare different accommodation categories and cruise line offerings.

Designed to simplify the presentation of ships and their accommodation options, the technology reduces the need for time-consuming manual work to create customized visualizations for clients. Combined with Revy AI's conversational assistance, the 3D viewer delivers a more interactive cruise-planning experience, giving agents an additional tool to guide clients through every stage of the booking process.

David Goodis reiterated that Revelex has always viewed technology as a key tool for simplifying travel sales and holiday planning. He also noted that the launch of these two new products represents another step towards that goal, highlighting the potential of Revy AI and the 3D Cruise Deck Viewer to transform the cruise booking experience.

The launch of the two products is therefore part of the ongoing development of Revelex's booking platform, which is already connected to more than 60 cruise lines, with further integrations currently underway. The company aims to expand the resources available to travel professionals by providing increasingly advanced search and visualization tools in a market where technology is playing a growing role in travel sales and planning.
