Groupe Beneteau acquires Sailing Atlantic Services
Groupe Beneteau has acquired Sailing Atlantic Services, a company based in Vendée, in Les Sables d’Olonne, France, specializing in the installation of navigation and safety equipment, boat customization, maintenance, and storage.
Each year, the site prepares between 130 and 150 boats, mainly for charter fleets operating in France and internationally, positioning Les Sables d’Olonne as a key location for the commissioning of Lagoon and Excess catamarans manufactured in Vendée by Groupe Beneteau.
Founded in 2000, Sailing Atlantic Services has 11 employees and generated revenue of €1.8 million in 2025. By joining Groupe Beneteau, the company will retain its regional roots and governance under the leadership of Denis Fauvet, Chief Executive Officer.

Bruno Thivoyon, Chairman of the Executive Board of Groupe Beneteau, emphasized that the acquisition of Sailing Atlantic Services is part of the Group’s commitment to building an increasingly comprehensive range of services aimed at enhancing the customer experience. The operation is based on recognized expertise and strong regional roots, elements considered an integral part of the Group’s DNA. According to Denis Fauvet, CEO of Sailing Atlantic Services, the merger represents the natural evolution of a long-standing partnership built on trust and will allow the company to expand its range of services and offer even more complete solutions to its customers.
At the same time, Groupe Beneteau has also made an investment in Les Sables d’Olonne for the development of a service center in the Port Olona 3 area, where the services of Sailing Atlantic Services will be established. In Les Sables d’Olonne, Groupe Beneteau will invest €3.3 million in a nautical service center targeting 300 launches per year, with commissioning scheduled for the end of 2027.
Located in the Port Olona 3 area, as part of the port’s expansion, the future Groupe Beneteau service center foresees the signing, on February 17, 2026, of a preliminary agreement for 7,000 m² in a firm tranche, complemented by an optional tranche of 5,000 m² to be exercised within five years. The building permit is scheduled for September 2026, with commissioning set for December 2027.
Backed by an investment of €3.3 million, which could reach €4.5 million with options, the project involves the construction of a building capable of accommodating larger Lagoon, Excess, and Prestige catamarans manufactured in Vendée. The future site will enhance the Group’s capabilities in boat customization, fine-tuning, and delivery, increasing capacity from approximately 120 units today to 300 per year.

The specifications for the future building also include environmental requirements, with the installation of photovoltaic panels, a green roof, optimized surfaces to limit land consumption, architecture attentive to marine life and ecology, and compliance with ART 2020 standards.
Bruno Thivoyon emphasized that Les Sables d’Olonne represents a strategic location for the Group in the Vendée region and that the new hub at Port Olona 3 will allow closer engagement with clients, improve service quality, and support them in their sailing projects.
With the acquisition of Sailing Atlantic Services and the development of the new service center in Les Sables d’Olonne, Groupe Beneteau thus strengthens its presence in the region, expands its customer service offerings, and reaffirms its commitment to customization, quality, and innovation in the nautical sector.
