An important milestone was reached on March 27, 2026, at the cruise port of Casablanca: for the first time, three ships were berthed on the same day.
Seven Seas Voyager (633 passengers), Azamara Journey (635 passengers) and La Belle des Océans (103 passengers) all arrived in Casablanca on the same day and were successfully accommodated, demonstrating the port’s ability to maintain high standards of service.
To manage this triple call effectively, approximately 100 buses and 20 minibuses were made available to facilitate shore excursions, allowing guests to explore destinations including Casablanca, Rabat and El Jadida.

To celebrate this significant milestone, Ouadii Bouchana, General Manager of the Casablanca Cruise Port, welcomed the ships’ captains together with port representatives for the traditional plaque exchange ceremony on board.
Ouadii Bouchana said that the simultaneous arrival of three ships represents a significant milestone and a clear demonstration of the port’s operational capabilities. Casablanca offers guests convenient access to Morocco’s rich cultural heritage through high-quality experiences, while positioning itself as an important regional hub.
The occasion also highlights the strong cooperation with cruise lines, as well as the port’s ability to manage more complex logistics than usual.
In addition to the triple call, the port had recently welcomed Viking Vesta (956 guests) and Vidanta World Elegant (56 guests), bringing the total number of guests during the period to more than 2,300. This momentum is expected to continue through April, with scheduled calls from Corinthian, Silver Ray and Viking Jupiter.
The port’s continued growth is also supported by its proximity to Mohammed V International Airport, its direct connection between the international business world and the cultural essence of the White City, and the future railway connection.
Founded in the 18th century and significantly developed from 1906 onwards, the port is the largest in Morocco and is located on the Atlantic coast. It has been continuously expanded, including the opening of a new cruise terminal in 2022. The port now boasts a state-of-the-art cruise terminal, built through an investment of €61.5 million, with capacity for up to 450,000 passengers per year and cruise ships of up to 350 metres in length.
Designed to handle both transit calls and turnaround operations, the port is playing an increasingly important role in supporting the development of cruise tourism in Morocco and strengthening the country’s position on international cruise itineraries.
It remains a strategic gateway for travellers, whether they wish to explore the city’s architectural splendour — the port is just 2.5 km from the city centre — or discover the historic charm of Rabat and El Jadida, offering a high-quality experience designed to fit a variety of itineraries.
