An evolution of Holland America's "Vista" class ship, the Costa Luminosa has a platform similar in size to the Queen Victoria. Created with the aim of providing Costa Cruises with a superior cruise product, its hotel layout was also designed by Farcus and is simpler and therefore more suited to European customers.
It is a panamax ship, making it ideal for world tours. It is worth mentioning the presence on board of the Samsara Spa, which is certainly the best chain of wellness centres built on cruise ships.
