Carnival Sunshine

Originally the Carnival Destiny, Carnival Sunshine will go down in history as the first cruise ship in the world to cross the fateful 100,000-tonne gross tonnage threshold. With its completion, the shipbuilding industry entered the era of the mega-ship. It was characterised by a Las Vegas-style layout designed by Joe Farcus. In 2013, Carnival Cruise Line's vessel underwent an intensive refit which brought a new layout by PSD, while the exterior was spoiled with the addition of a forward superstructure with new cabins.
