Description
Part of Carnival’s Destiny Class, which when launched in the mid-90’s were the largest cruise ships in the world and the first cruise ships to exceed 100,000 gt. When still called Triumph, suffered a major engine fire and power failure in 2013 that made world headlines. Passengers reported sewage and food issues and the ship became somewhat notorious. In 2019 the Triumph has embarked on a major refit and emerge as Carnival Sunrise. No doubt a great way for Carnival to erase the past turmoils and history of Triumph from the minds of future cruisers.
