A Refined Journey Through the Heart of Scotland with Azamara Journey

Departing from Copenhagen, I had the privilege of exploring the stunning coasts of Scotland and the British Isles aboard the Azamara Journey, a cruise ship that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I boarded, I noticed an exceptional level of service. The welcome was warm—almost familial—and the crew did everything possible to make me feel truly cared for. The ship, not too large, offers an intimate and sophisticated atmosphere that creates a rare sense of comfort and tranquility. My stateroom was spacious, bright, and tastefully decorated with a refined yet understated elegance. Each day, it was meticulously maintained, with small, thoughtful touches that made a real difference. Dining was one of the highlights of the trip: refined dishes prepared with fresh ingredients and beautifully presented, served in elegant yet relaxed settings. During sea days, I thoroughly enjoyed the onboard activities—from cultural lectures to live music performances—which enriched the experience.

We spent a truly relaxing week of vacation. The itinerary was excellent, with so many wonderful places to explore. The nace is very nice and the service is attentive and courteous. We didn't like the gastronomy very much.

Ristorazione che lascia a desiderare

Da una nave che si classifica di lusso mi aspettavo un servizio ben diverso nel risotrante di base, invece molto semplice e senza alcuna specialità. Anche il servizio non si è dimostrato attento e disponibile. Azamara offre itinerari straordinari come scelta e come tempi di permanenza ed è forse questo il suo forte. La nave è anziana, e si vede nelle su strutture, ma generalmente ben tenuta.

A beautiful itinerary between Thailand and Indonesia. Small but welcoming ship, very kind staff. We ate very well, especially at the buffet. Perfect entertainment and always clean and tidy cabins. We loved this cruise.

Die Küche war nicht ausgezeichnet

Erste Kreuzfahrt mit Azamara Club Cruises. Eine überwiegend amerikanische Umgebung, aber mit hilfsbereitem und freundlichem Personal. Das Schiff ist alt, aber schön und sehr entspannend. Die Küche entsprach nicht meinen Erwartungen. Insgesamt eine tolle Kreuzfahrt zwischen Singapur, Hong Kong, Vietnam und Thailand.

Cucina superficiale

Una compagnia che alla prima esperienza si è collocata leggermente sotto le mie aspettative. Il punto debole è il ristorante di base ed il buffet, che offrono pietanze semplici, scontate, con poca fantasia e spesso anche senza scelta. Migliori decisamente i due ristoranti di specialità ma da un upper premium, o luxury per alcuni, ci si aspetta altro. L'ambiente è elegante e curato, piccolo ma comodo e confortevole. Le cabine con finestra sono davvero piccole e tradiscono l'età della nave. Bella l'organizzazione dell'Azamazing Night, dispendiosissima per la compagnia, ma avrei investito di più nella cambusa piuttosto che in questa colossale escursione gratuita per tutta la nave. Palestra, Spa e Casinò sono ai minimi termini
