Description

Ganges Voyager, built in 2015, can accommodate a maximum of 56 guests for a relaxing experience. The ship takes you back in time with its colonial-era style featuring wooden furniture and hand-decorated murals. From the air-conditioned indoor lounge to the outdoor lounge, you'll find plenty of seating and places to relax, plus the indoor lounge has large windows so no matter where you sit, you'll always have a fantastic view. You can also relax in the spa, or work out in the fitness room. At the restaurant you can enjoy typical dishes from the region you are travelling through prepared with fresh local ingredients.
In the Suites a comfortable lounge is highlighted by floor-to-ceiling windows and is the perfect place to watch the passing landscape or relax after a sightseeing trip. There is simply no better way to experience the Ganges.

Sailing the Ganges aboard the Ganges Voyager was one of the most serene and culturally enriching experiences I’ve ever had. What I appreciated most was the perfect balance between comfort and discovery: the ship offers spacious suites with classic, tasteful finishes — never overdone — and panoramic windows that allow you to observe life along the river without ever leaving your cabin. Each day began with gentle activities, yoga or outdoor meditation, and continued with well-organized excursions, often led by local experts who brought depth and context to the places we visited, from the spirituality of Kalna to the vibrant charm of small villages. On board, the pace was slow and relaxing, yet never dull. The staff were attentive without being overly formal, treating every guest with genuine kindness. This cruise is not just a holiday, it’s a window into rural and spiritual India, experienced with every possible comfort.
