Description

American Glory combines the best qualities of expedition cruising with sophistication, luxury and stability. The viewing areas are forward, while a swim/activity platform aft provides kayaks and a tender for local exploration. The ship's shallow draft allows access to small harbors and the ability to travel on almost any river or waterway.
The modern interiors, designed by Studio DADO, offer guests an unprecedented level of comfort and elegance, and evoke a sense of pride and appreciation for U.S. history. The choice of color palettes, furnishings and artwork reflect the culture of the Chesapeake Bay and the Southeast.

Boarding American Glory felt like stepping into a welcoming and refined world. The crew’s warmth and the ship’s comfort immediately made me feel at home, while the opportunity to explore small bays and hidden harbors by kayak or tender turned each day into an adventure. The interiors, modern and bright, tell the story and culture of the American South with elegant, authentic details: I felt immersed in the history of the Chesapeake Bay without sacrificing the finest comforts. The excursions were well organized, with attentive guides and itineraries designed to showcase the best of each destination without stress. Sailing from Amelia Island to Charleston, stopping at Jekyll Island, St. Simons, Savannah, Hilton Head, and Beaufort, was an experience of continuous discovery: every port, every stretch of coastline offered moments of wonder and tranquility.
