American West built in 1995, at 71m long and 15m wide is the Veteran of the Columbia and Snake Rivers. American West has undergone major renovations with updates to the passenger cabins, lounges, galley and engine room. Meticulous attention to detail has been paid to the reconstruction, from newly designed and custom-made furniture to expanded cabins and additional private balconies. American West accommodates a maximum of 100 guests with 70 rooms. On board there is a restaurant, three lounges, a library and a putting green.

A lot of fun!

I had never been to the northwest of the United States and wanted to see what it was like. I really enjoyed the trip. Lots of good food, and the staff was friendly. The cruise director was fantastic. The entertainment was very good with local shows performed by locals on board. The cabin was a bit small, but it was cleaned every day and well-maintained. This cruise was a lot of fun!
