Prima nave della classe Destiny realizzata per Costa Crociere, Costa Fortuna era forse la nave più bella della flotta Costa. Il suo design interno rendeva omaggio alla storia dei transatlantici italiani e delle navi passeggeri di Costa. Quando è stata destinata al mercato asiatico parte del suo allestimento originale è stata rimossa per far posto a decori in stile cinese, compromettendo l’impalcatura originale del suo stile architettonico. E’ previsto un nuovo refit degli interni in occasione del suo rientro in Europa.
