My experience aboard the Celebrity Ascent of Celebrity Cruises was very positive. The public areas are bright and well designed, with a contemporary style that makes the environment both pleasant and relaxing. The cabin was comfortable and functional, featuring a clean design and high-quality materials. The dining experience particularly impressed me: I found the food to be of excellent quality both in the main dining venues and in the specialty restaurants, with a variety and standard above what I have experienced on other cruises. The onboard service was consistently attentive and professional, with staff who were helpful without being intrusive. The only less convincing aspect is that at certain times the public areas can feel somewhat crowded, especially in the most popular spots such as the pool and buffet. Overall, I consider the Celebrity Ascent an ideal ship for those looking for a modern, elegant cruise experience focused on quality rather than entertainment spectacle.

La mia avventura a bordo della Celebrity Ascent

La mia esperienza a bordo della Celebrity Ascent, partendo da Civitavecchia e navigando verso Souda-Chania, Kusadasi, Istanbul, Santorini, Mykonos, fino al ritorno a Napoli e Civitavecchia, è stata davvero memorabile sotto molti aspetti. La nave, dal design moderno e raffinato, offre spazi ampi e luminosi che creano un’atmosfera elegante ma allo stesso tempo accogliente. Ho apprezzato particolarmente le aree comuni come la piscina, il centro benessere e le terrazze panoramiche, perfette per rilassarsi ammirando il panorama durante la navigazione. Le escursioni organizzate erano eccellenti: ho avuto l’opportunità di scoprire le meraviglie culturali e naturali di ogni porto, dalle antiche rovine di Efeso a Kusadasi, ai paesaggi spettacolari di Santorini e Mykonos, fino alla storia affascinante di Istanbul. Questa combinazione di relax a bordo e avventure on shore ha reso il viaggio un perfetto equilibrio tra scoperta e benessere.

First time with Celebrity Cruises

I took a cruise on Celebrity Ascent from Barcelona to Rome and it was an experience that exceeded expectations. From boarding to arriving in Rome, the trip was a perfect combination of luxury, comfort and adventure, with stops in some of the most fascinating destinations in the Mediterranean. What struck me about the ship is the Magic Carpet, the platform suspended on the side of the ship, a unique attraction that allows you to enjoy aperitifs or dinners with a panoramic view of the ocean. I stayed in a cabin with Infinite Veranda, where the external wall of the room transforms into a balcony, allowing you to enjoy a breathtaking view. The culinary offering was exceptional especially in the themed restaurants, such as Le Petit Chef, with an animated dinner. The evening entertainment was top-notch, with acrobatic performances and more. The service on board is impeccable, with a staff always available and attentive. A top-notch experience, which I highly recommend!
