I chose Silver Spirit because I wanted to try Silversea, and I have to say my first impression was very positive. What I appreciated most was the way the onboard experience is handled: very little formality, attentive staff, and above all the butler service, which really made a difference for me. The suite was spacious and comfortable, and I could immediately notice a higher level of service compared with other cruises I had taken before. The dining experience left me with more mixed feelings. Some dinners were truly excellent, with a good choice of restaurants and well-prepared dishes, while on other occasions I expected a little more considering the level of the cruise line. I particularly enjoyed being able to change the atmosphere and cuisine throughout the trip. The table service was also generally very good.
