The ship was fantastic, best food I ever had at sea, the crew and the staff couldn't have been nicer

The entertainment could have been better

I live in Cobh and had to fly to Southampton from Dublin in order to get on the ship, the following day I was back in my hometown again and went to feed my cat, afterwards I spent the rest of the day on board, it was such a funny way to start the cruise. All I can say is the food every day in the buffet and in the main dining room was some of the best food I have ever had anywhere, not just at sea. The staff on board were so friendly and it just had the personal touch in the evenings when I would go to the main dining room, the servers knew my name and I knew theirs, and we would have some great conversations with them. The food at lunch in the buffet was also fantastic, amazing selections and made to order pasta was a favourite of mine. The entertainment on board was ok, but I have seen better on Princess and MSC, but it was done I suppose for an older audience, most of the passengers were all in their 70s or more whereas I was 39 at the time. I cant wait to go with Celebrity again.
