Costa Pacifica " Caribbean delights "

Small ship , smaller islands , less crowds and great weather

ageing ship , breakdowns in port , missing ports and repetitive entertainment

Been on Pacifica many times before, however the ship is ageing and fr the first time we missed ports due to breakdowns . Ship up keep is happening but at a very slow pace and only cosmetic . A lot needs to be done . Entertainment was very average and very reptitive . Most lines when cruising routes on 21 or 28 days have programmes to cover all 21 or 28 days , Costa repeats after 7 days . Not good enough. A lot of events take place after 11pm when good sail away events can be ad which Costa does not do . Most of these issues stem from the very good cruise directors they used to have and the new generation cruise and assitant cruise directors more concerned about there image and clothing than anything else. The Suite stewards and Concierge where fantastic and kept the standard expected . The buffet food is very repetitve and lacks imagination hence why we ate 95% of the time in the Club restaurant.
