My Experience in Svalbard, Greenland and Iceland

💬 Comment

I chose the World Voyager primarily for the itinerary, but once on board, I was immediately impressed by the ship’s intimate atmosphere and smaller scale. The interiors are elegant yet relaxed, the cabins are comfortable, and the panoramic spaces make it easy to fully appreciate the journey. The true highlight, however, is the expedition experience. From Svalbard and Ny-Ålesund to Greenland, the expedition team, shore excursions and Zodiac outings provide an authentic way to experience these remote regions. I found cruising through Scoresbysund particularly impressive, with its dramatic fjords, mountains and ice. The only thing to keep in mind is that, as a true expedition cruise, weather and ice conditions can affect the itinerary, so flexibility is essential. For me, though, that unpredictability is precisely what makes the journey feel authentic.
