Description
The history of the Marco Polo is very long and dates back to the era of scheduled ships. Launched in 1965 for a Soviet shipping companion operating in the Baltic under the name of Aleksandr Pushkin, its fame began with its transition to the Orient Line in 1993. Since 2009 she has been sailing, initially as a 5-year charter, for Cruises and Maritime Voyages offering itineraries mainly to Northern Europe. Despite the periodical renovations, Marco Polo remains a ship of another era, with rooms and furnishings far from the latest generations of ships. Enjoy a drink at Scott's Bar, while pretending to sail immersed...in the last century. Gabriele Bassi
