American Countess which is scheduled to open in 2021 boasts a sleek, contemporary design accommodating up to 245 guests, with ample outdoor space. It has four decks, including a Sun Deck where you can enjoy the scenery, and 123 cabins in four categories, mainly cabins with balconies equipped with 2 chairs and 1 cocktail table. There are also wheelchair-accessible cabins (for disabled passengers).
All cabins offer standard air-conditioning, Smart HDTV, wardrobe, chest of drawers, minibar (fridge), electronic safe, direct-dial telephone, alarm clock, coffee maker, binoculars (for cabin use only), luxury toiletries, numerous sockets and lighting.Just like the cruise ship's public rooms, the cabins are decorated and equipped with antiques and Victorian-style replicas.
Onboard there is a main restaurant, which features an award-winning culinary team that uses fresh ingredients from each region to create authentic dishes, a casual restaurant, a fitness centre with a spectacular backdrop of the river, a spa, a theatre offering evening entertainment, a library and a Card Room where passengers can meet friends. American Countess operates riverboat cruises on the Ohio River and the lower Mississippi River (including tributaries), operating various itineraries from the ports of Memphis Tennessee and New Orleans in Louisiana over six to 15 day itineraries.
